BROWNIES MADE SIMPLE

I have been quite keen to make some brownies, but since I live at a catering Residence at University I never really get to try out my recipes. So since I am home for my vac I decided to try out the brownie recipe I got from the Pick n Pay food catalogue. It was incredibly simple to follow the recipe and I think I had a delicious product.
Ingredients
  •    cup (250ml) Sugar
  •          1 teaspoon (5 ml) Vanilla Essence
  •          ¾ cup (180 ml) butter melted
  •          ¾ cup (180 ml) Flour
  •          ½ teaspoon (3 ml) baking powder
  •          3 extra-large eggs
  •          160g (2 slabs) dark chocolate chopped
  •          1 packet (100g) Hazelnuts, toasted.

·     Method

  • Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and ensure that your 25cm baking tray has been greased.
  •          Mix your sugar, vanilla and butter together.
  •        Sift flour, baking powder and cocoa together.
  •         Mix dry ingredients through butter mixture.
  •        Beat in the eggs
  •          Fold in your chopped chocolate and nuts.
  •        Pour your mixed ingredients onto the tray.
  •   Bake for 15-20 minutes; ensure that the brownie is still squidgy in the centre.

THE FINAL PRODUCT
NOM...NOM...NOM!! After all the hard work it is time to indulge, yeah man!
